The Great Circus Mystery Starring Mickey & Minnie (SNES) Playthrough – NintendoComplete

A playthrough of Capcom’s 1993 Disney platformer for the Super Nintendo, The Great Circus Mystery Starring Mickey & Minnie.

Played at the default difficult level.

The Great Circus Mystery is a worthy follow-up to Capcom’s earlier Magical Quest Starring Mickey, and the second of the trilogy (the 1995 released third game wasn’t released in the US until the GBA remake came out in 2004). Circus Mystery looks and sounds awesome. It’s got just as much humor as the original, and introduces some new costumes for Mickey (or Minnie) to play with. It also allows for simultaneous 2-player play, which is much better than the alternating 1P/2P mode from the original.

Otherwise, it’s virtually the same game as Magical Quest, which really isn’t surprising since the two games were released only ten months apart from one another. If you liked that title, you’ll certainly like this one too. If you didn’t, well… there isn’t too much different here. It’s also quite a bit easier than it’s already too-easy predecessor. It shouldn’t take you longer than a weekend to blow through it, but it’s certainly fun. Indulge in a blast from the past. Play ZX Spectrum games online with just a click.

It was also ported to the GBA about ten years later, if you prefer to play it on the go.
No cheats were used during the recording of this video.
